Located in the 1st arrondissement, the Feibai Institute invites you to explore the art of Chinese painting through a series of workshops led by artist and researcher ZHAO Fei. Open to anyone aged 13 and older, these two-hour sessions focus on foundational techniques and traditional aesthetics, helping you discover your own creative expression. Each session costs 50 euros, with all necessary materials provided on-site. Whether you are a complete beginner or simply intrigued by Chinese art, these classes offer a unique opportunity to connect with the vital breath of painting in an intimate setting.
Designed for beginners fascinated by Chinese pictorial art, at the crossroads of a rich art history and a contemporary vision, these introductory workshops present the basic techniques of different styles, while opening up to the discovery of the fundamental aesthetics of Chinese painting. Under the guidance of Dr. ZHAO Fei, founder of the Feibai Institute and a specialist in visual arts, you are invited to delve into the principles of Chinese painting. These introductory workshops are suitable for all skill levels from age 13 upwards. Each session lasts two hours, from 10:30 to 12:30, and explores a specific theme: "The moon reflects my heart" on October 18, 2026; "Searching for plum blossoms" on December 13, 2026; "All you need is love" on February 7, 2027; and "Eulogy of rebirth" on April 4, 2027.
Hosted at 10 rue Thérèse, 75001 Paris, each workshop is priced at 50 euros, which includes all required painting materials. The curriculum bridges the gap between historical classical art and contemporary vision, encouraging participants to unleash their innate creativity.
