SWEDISH FIT x BARBARA BUTCH & GUESTS x MAJORS GIRLS x ALT SHIFT & V.P.M / The Declaration

June 6, 2026Free

The Declaration, a multidisciplinary and festive highlight, 2026 with Barbara Butch & Guest, the Majors Girls, ALT SHIFT x V.P.M and Swedish Fit.

SWEDISH FIT, Festive group class - 5:30 PM → 6:30 PM

More than just a sports activity, Swedish Fit is a festive, inclusive, and deeply collective vision of movement. To start the evening and warm up: it's time for a giant class that gets bodies, heads, and hearts moving, with a playlist driven by Barbara Butch. A collective experience where everyone will be invited to participate, move in unison, and celebrate "love and connections."

BARBARA BUTCH & GUESTS, DJ-Set - 7:00 PM → 9:40 PM

As the sun still shines over Paris, the square in front of the Hôtel de Ville gradually transforms into a vast open-air stage. At the controls, Barbara Butch deploys a generous and unifying DJ set, just like her: free, joyful, and deeply inclusive. Navigating between styles and energies, she composes a musical journey thought of as a moment of sharing, where everyone can find their place. Around her, surprise guests punctuate the evening, creating unexpected moments and unique artistic crossovers. Together, they draw a progressive build-up, accompanying the passage from day to night. The public is invited to enter into this collective dynamic: to dance, vibrate, meet, and let themselves go. Young and old, dancefloor regulars and curious onlookers alike, all participate in this open celebration, where music becomes a common language. A suspended time, both festive and unifying, which sets the tone for the night and invites you to extend the experience throughout the city.

MAJORS GIRLS, Majorette demonstration - 9:40 PM

The Majors Girls from Montpellier take over Paris with their majorette demonstrations. Between dynamic choreographies and perfectly mastered baton twirling, each performance celebrates both technique and the joy of being together. The troupe tells their story through gestures and the magic of their costumes, where shared memories, collective energy, and the spirit of transmission mingle. A true ode to passion, friendship, and the unbreakable bonds that unite them, their performances invite the public to enter their universe. The energy of these women, nurtured by years of complicity, transforms the streets and squares of Paris into a vibrant, warm space of live performance—offering, for Nuit Blanche, much more than a performance: a moment of sharing, sisterhood, and... glitter!

The Majors Girls of Montpellier are an iconic majorette troupe, created in 1964 by Mrs. Jacques Suzette. Much more than an artistic collective, they embody a true story of friendship and loyalty, woven over the years. Trained in the American discipline of twirling, they have conquered French and international stages, from Barcelona to Valencia, all the way to the world championships in Eindhoven. Today, under the direction of Josy Jacques, with an average age of 60, they continue the adventure with undiminished passion, blending dance, virtuosity, and a palpable complicity that is the strength of their troupe.

The Majors Girls are also performing at the Bassin de la Villette at 7:00 PM and 11:50 PM.

ALT SHIFT x V.P.M., Pulsar, Video Mapping - 10:00 PM → 3:00 AM

On the facade of the Hôtel de Ville, Pulsar unfolds as an immersive mapping project accompanied by a spatialized soundtrack. Structured around a heartbeat, the work offers a movement of expansion, from the minuscule to the immense, which seems to make the city itself vibrate. Imagined by ALT SHIFT and V.P.M, it combines choreographed images and generative content, mixing analog and digital techniques. Through this common pulsation, Pulsar explores the theme of love as a force of connection and shared resonance.

ALT SHIFT is a creative structure founded by David Hugonot Petit, at the crossroads of photography, directing, and scenography, which explores different media and technologies to design immersive experiences in the service of a surreal and committed vision. V.P.M is a studio founded by Joan Nieto and Javier Cañal, specializing in innovative audiovisual production, video mapping, and interactive experiences, integrating generative content, special effects, and live performances.

Production: ALT SHIFT, V.P.M., 31db, Bend, Pavillon noir, Urban Move Academy. With the technical support of Saphir Event.

ELIAS GALINDO-LOPEZ / Cheri, cherie, cheri·e : eat a cherry and make a wish !

ELIAS GALINDO-LOPEZ / Cheri, cherie, cheri·e : eat a cherry and make a wish !

June 7, 2026Free

Cheri, cherie, cheri·e : eat a cherry and make a wish !, Installation, performance, sound - Red tulle, cherries, bird calls, 2026

Cheri, cherie, cheri·e : eat a cherry and make a wish ! takes place in the Espace Niemeyer, a site charged with communist history and imagination, which becomes the terrain for a sensitive exploration of its symbols. On the lawn, a tulle carpet forming the word "CHERRY" echoes a performative presence inside the building, where cherries are offered in exchange for wishes.

Through the figure of the cherry—linking the song "Le Temps des cerises," the blackbird, and the revolutionary imaginary—a connection is woven between space, collective memory, and intimate projection. Each cherry will be a desire, each pit a possibility.

Elias Galindo-Lopez was born in 1989 in Mexico; he is an artist and performer based in Paris. Trained in dance, he develops a transdisciplinary practice blending performance, sound, installation, and objects, often guided by intuition and improvisation. Nourished by knowledge related to birds, plants, and stars, his work explores the sensitive relationships between humans and non-humans, between the living and the elements. A graduate of ENSAD Nancy and ENSAPC, he has presented his work in France and Mexico.
