Please read these Terms carefully before using the Parissi app. By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Parissi mobile application ("App") operated by STDM ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms in full.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the App.
2. Description of the Service
Parissi is a free mobile application that helps users discover events taking place in Paris, France. The App aggregates publicly available event information and presents it in a personalized feed, searchable interface, and interactive map.
The App is available free of charge on iOS and Android. We reserve the right to introduce optional premium features in the future, which will be communicated clearly.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You must not:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App to transmit harmful, offensive, or unlawful content
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure or servers
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the App's content without our written permission
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
4. Content and Event Information
Event information displayed in the App is sourced from our database and is provided for informational purposes only. While we strive to keep information accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or availability of any event listing.
We are not responsible for changes to events (such as cancellations, venue changes, or rescheduling) that occur after the information is published in the App. Always verify event details directly with the organizer before attending.
5. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by STDM and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content without our prior written consent.
6. Third-Party Links and Services
The App may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as event ticketing platforms or organizer websites). These links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites.
We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party services you visit.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, STDM disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, STDM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App — even if STDM has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Modifications to the App and Terms
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We also reserve the right to update these Terms at any time.
When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France.
