Our take on this event
Trade the hectic city pace for an hour of quiet artistic discovery with the little ones. Mastering the delicate strokes of Chinese ink painting is a unique, mindful experience for curious minds of all ages.
The Feibai Institute hosts a specialized workshop titled Grand et Petit Pinceaux, inviting children from age 3 to discover the beauty of Chinese ink painting. Led by artist and researcher ZHAO Fei, these sessions focus on the aesthetics of the brush and the artistic gesture in a creative, immersive environment. Located in Paris's 1st arrondissement, these workshops are suitable for families or independent young creators. Each session lasts 1h30, providing a peaceful space to explore Asian art forms. Please note that children under 5 years old must be accompanied by an adult throughout the duration of the activity.
Guided by ZHAO Fei, a PhD in Plastic Arts and co-founder of the Feibai Institute, this workshop series offers a hands-on introduction to Chinese painting techniques. Participants aged 3 to 12 explore the nuances of ink and brushwork, developing their artistic skills through a poetic and structured approach to traditional Asian aesthetics.
The sessions are scheduled for January 7, March 14, and May 16, 2027, from 10:30 to 12:00. Each workshop lasts 1h30. For safety and pedagogical reasons, children under the age of 5 must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are priced at 15 euros for children and 20 euros for adults, offering a unique opportunity to engage with high-quality artistic instruction at the Feibai Institute in the heart of the city.
