Synopsis:
Rafaela is a young nun belonging to a struggling, almost extinct congregation. For some time now, an unfinished and recurring dream has been haunting her. Shortly after, she is sent to a neighboring village in search of the new archbishop. Along the way, she will experience extraordinary encounters that will make her move forward or backward on her path.

Karla Badillo
Director, producer, and screenwriter. Director of two award-winning short films, notably Sin regresos (2019), selected for the official competition at the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG) (2019) and winner of the Best Short Film directed by a woman award at GIFF (2019), selected for the official section at the Dumbo Film Festival in New York, and Oasis (2018), winner of the Best Short Film award at the Mexico Fashion Film Festival (2018). As a producer, her films have premiered in Cannes and San Sebastián.
