Synopsis:
While most of the inhabitants of Monte Virgen are busy with the coffee harvest, Julia, a forest ranger, discovers that the reserve is the victim of illegal deforestation. Determined to stop them, she seeks the help of a fearful and indifferent community that soon turns its back on her. Alone in her fight, the forest ranger receives death threats and gradually loses everything she loves, except for one thing: her dignity.

Pablo Pérez Lombardini
Screenplay / Director / Producer
(Mexico, 1987) graduated from the CCC in 2015, specializing in direction. He has written, directed, and produced several short films. He has worked as an assistant director for Claudia Sainte-Luce, Alonso Ruiz Palacios, and Rodrigo Plá, among others. In 2016, he founded the production company PIKILA.
La reserva is his first feature film.
