Synopsis:
"Obispo Rojo" retraces the life of Sergio Méndez Arceo, a Mexican mystic whose story was nearly hidden. Pursued by the Inquisition, a defender of applying psychoanalysis within religious congregations, a protector of the poor, and a spokesperson for guerrilla movements, he was a deeply spiritual man who revolutionized the way Christianity is perceived, playing a central role in the historical events that marked Latin America during the second half of the 20th century.
