About

On Friday, November 6, 2026, the Théâtre de la Concorde hosts the second annual MeTooMedia Awards. This ceremony honors journalists, artists, and writers whose work provides essential insight into sexual and gender-based violence. Across ten categories—ranging from podcasts and investigative journalism to stage productions and fiction—the event celebrates the courage and rigor required to reshape contemporary media narratives. Featuring artistic performances and discussions centered on the theme of trust, the evening explores how journalism and culture can foster a more responsible public discourse. The event is entirely free of charge for all attendees.

For several years, the MeToo movement has profoundly transformed public debate and enabled the emergence of stories that had long remained invisible. The MeTooMedia Prizes are part of this dynamic, honoring those whose journalistic, documentary, literary, or artistic work contributes to a better understanding of the sexist and sexual violence that is still far too present in 2026.

This second edition continues the ambition of the first: to reward in-depth investigations, poignant narratives, and works that break the silence. The prizes celebrate the commitment, rigor, and courage of those who inform, raise awareness, and help evolve perspectives, narratives, and media practices toward a more responsible culture.

Beyond the awards ceremony, the evening will be punctuated by speeches, discussions, and artistic interventions centered on a key issue: trust. How can we ensure everyone is heard? How can we rebuild trust when it has been undermined? What role can media, culture, and journalism play in bringing forth fairer narratives and supporting this transformation?

Our take on this event

The 2026 MeTooMedia Awards will be held at the Théâtre de la Concorde, located at 1 Avenue Gabriel. From 19:30 to 21:30, the evening serves to recognize those whose investigative work or creative projects have helped expose and analyze sexual and gender-based violence. Awards will be presented in ten distinct categories, including general and sports journalism, podcasts, literature, musical works, stage performances, and content creation.

In addition to the award presentations, the program includes a series of speeches and artistic interventions focused on the central theme of trust. Participants will explore how media outlets and cultural institutions can play a constructive role in creating more accurate narratives and supporting those whose voices have previously been marginalized. The event seeks to address how society can move toward a more responsible and equitable media environment.

Attendance is free and open to everyone interested in these critical societal issues. Join the organizers for an evening of reflection and recognition dedicated to the evolution of media practices.
