About

Experience "Démodé, la comédie qui fait vivre les mots !" at Le Funambule Montmartre, a show where five performers bring the richness of the French language to the stage. This production celebrates prose, verse, and the literary heritage of legends like Molière and Hugo through a quirky and humorous lens. Designed for audiences aged 10 and up, the play turns words into physical performances that honor both classical and modern poets. The venue is fully accessible to wheelchair users, ensuring everyone can join this artistic tribute to literature in the heart of the 18th arrondissement.

To save the language of Molière, Voltaire, and Hugo (to name but a few), 5 wandering artists mobilize to play with words, defending prose, verse, and the alexandrines that form the foundation of our literary heritage.

Let yourself be carried away into their quirky universe where words take shape and resonate as a plea for the poets of yesterday and today.

A hymn to the love of words, both funny and poetic.

From September 8 to November 11
