About
CLUB BRAT (10:30 PM)
(Noise punk - Peterborough, UK)
CLUB BRAT is a high-intensity punk/noise pop band, blending jagged guitars, powerful bass dissonance, and explosive rhythms. Originally from Peterborough and now based between Bristol and London, this quintet formed in 2023 and has quickly built a reputation for its unpredictable live shows and relentless DIY spirit.
Their upcoming EP, 4 Songs (September 2025, VENN Records), was recorded with the best engineers in the underground scene and mastered by Bob Weston of Shellac, embodying the Albini tradition of raw, no-frills production. The band also worked with Don Zientara of Inner Ear Studios, who described them as: "A locomotive... that REALLY knows how to put that into music."
Drawing inspiration from Fugazi, Idles, and The Pixies, CLUB BRAT defies easy categorization, defining itself instead by a raw urgency and provocative energy. As Steve Ignorant of CRASS warns: "Miss this band at your own peril."
