The Maison du Jardinage et du Compostage joins the Octobre rose campaign with creative workshops in the 12th arrondissement. From October 3 to October 30, 2026, visitors can craft paper flowers, including roses, poppies, and cosmos, to celebrate garden flora. This activity is completely free and held at the Parc de Bercy. While weekday sessions offer flexible access, please note that the Saturday workshops led by Flora require advance registration to participate. It is a perfect opportunity to learn new skills while supporting the cause in a beautiful, green setting.

As part of the Pink October campaign, you can visit the Gardening and Composting House during the week and make paper flowers: roses, poppies, and cosmos, flowers that beautify our gardens every year!

On Saturdays, October 3, 10, and 24, learn how to work with crepe paper during a workshop led by Flora. Registration is mandatory for these workshops.

Our take on this event

Throughout October 2026, the Maison du Jardinage et du Compostage hosts a series of creative sessions dedicated to the Octobre rose campaign. From October 6 to October 30, you are welcome to visit the facility on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays between 14:00 and 17:00. During these times, you can learn the art of crafting paper flowers, such as cosmos, poppies, and roses, inspired by the seasonal beauty of our gardens.

Special workshops guided by Flora are scheduled for Saturdays, October 3, 10, and 24. These sessions run from 15:00 to 17:00 and participation is strictly subject to prior registration. The entire event is free of charge and takes place at 41, rue Paul-Belmondo, within the Parc de Bercy. Whether you are looking to refine your crafting techniques or simply support the campaign, these workshops provide a welcoming space for everyone.
