About
Every Friday from 18:00 to 21:30, Paillettes & Cambouis offers a community space in the 10th arrondissement dedicated to bicycle repair and maintenance. Whether you need to fix a strange noise or simply want to learn how to maintain your bike, you are welcome to use the equipment and benefit from shared knowledge in a supportive environment. Participation is subject to an on-site membership fee, which operates on a sliding scale based on what you can afford, starting at 15 euros to help keep the workshop accessible to everyone.
✨Paillettes & Cambouis✨ is a collective and solidarity-based project focused on reuse, mutual aid, promoting cycling, and autonomy for everyone through mechanics. It's also a laboratory for ideas, a living space, a place for sharing, parties, and learning!
🚲 Whether you have hundreds of hours of experience tinkering with the most sophisticated bike systems, or you don't know how to use a pump, whether you're a local hipster or short on cash, regardless of your age, gender identity, or riding habits, come meet us and join us!
👯 Here, everyone can volunteer and/or be helped according to what they want and feel capable of, but also based on their learning objectives: through mutual aid and kindness, we always manage to work things out :)
If your bike makes a small annoying noise, a big worrying sound, if you are preparing for a trip, or if you just love your bicycle so much that you want to take care of it, don't hesitate anymore, come by.
📌 On-site membership at a free and conscious price, based on your means (no justification needed) and your desire to support the space: 15 euros solidarity rate, 30 euros break-even rate for the association, 45 euros and more to ensure the association stays open to the greatest number of people.
For now, the space is minimally or not accessible to people with physical disabilities.
