Every Thursday evening, the Paillettes & Cambouis workshop in the 10th arrondissement invites you to learn how to maintain and repair your bicycle independently. This community space welcomes everyone, regardless of mechanical skill level, to share tools and knowledge in a supportive environment. Whether you need to fix a minor noise or prep for a long trip, you will find personalized guidance tailored to your goals. Access to the workshop is granted via an on-site membership, which operates on a flexible, conscious pricing model designed to keep the association sustainable for all members.
Paillettes & Cambouis is a collective and solidarity-based project focused on reuse, mutual aid, promoting cycling, and autonomy for everyone through mechanics. But it is also a laboratory for ideas, a living space, a place for sharing, parties, and learning!
Whether you have hundreds of hours of experience tinkering with the most sophisticated bike systems, or you don't even know how to use a pump, whether you're a local hipster or short on cash, regardless of your age, gender identity, or riding habits, come meet us and join in!
Here, everyone can volunteer and/or receive help depending on what they want to do and feel capable of, but also based on their learning goals: through mutual aid and kindness, we always manage to work things out :)
If your bike is making a small annoying noise, a big worrying one, if you are planning a trip, or if you just love your bicycle so much that you want to take care of it, don't hesitate anymore, come by.
Membership on-site at a free and conscious price, according to your means (no justification required) and your desire to support the space: 15 euros solidarity rate, 30 euros break-even rate for the association, 45 euros and more to ensure the association remains open to as many people as possible.
For now, the space is not or only partially accessible to people with physical disabilities.

Located at 1 rue Robert Blache, the Paillettes & Cambouis workshop hosts self-repair sessions every Thursday from October 8, 2026, to November 26, 2026. From 18:00 to 21:30, you can use the workshop's equipment to service your bike, whether you are a complete novice or a seasoned cyclist. The project is built on solidarity, mutual aid, and the promotion of cycling autonomy.
Participation requires an on-site membership based on a sliding scale, allowing you to contribute according to your budget. Options include a solidarity rate of 15 euros, the association's balance rate of 30 euros, and a support rate of 45 euros or more. This system ensures the space remains open to everyone.
Focusing on collaborative learning, the workshop encourages you to work on your bike with the help of others. Please note that the facility is closed on public holidays and is currently not accessible to individuals with physical disabilities.
