About

Paillettes & Cambouis invites you to its weekly bicycle repair workshop, held every Saturday from 14:00 to 18:30 in the 10th arrondissement. Whether you are a seasoned mechanic or just learning how to use a pump, this solidarity-based space provides the tools and collaborative support to fix your bike yourself. You are welcome to join regardless of your background or technical skill level. Access to the workshop requires an on-site membership with a flexible, sliding-scale fee based on your personal contribution. Please be aware that the workshop is closed on public holidays and has limited accessibility for those with physical disabilities.

✨Paillettes & Cambouis✨ is a collective and solidarity-based project focused on reuse, mutual aid, promoting cycling, and autonomy for everyone through mechanics. It is also a laboratory of ideas, a living space, a place for sharing, celebrations, and learning!

🚲 Whether you have hundreds of hours of experience tinkering with the most sophisticated bike systems, or you don't know how to use a pump, whether you are a local hipster or short on cash, regardless of your age, gender identity, or cycling habits, come meet us and join us!

👯 Here, everyone can volunteer and/or be helped according to what they want and feel capable of, but also based on their learning goals: through mutual aid and kindness, we always manage to work things out :)

If your bike is making a small annoying noise, a big worrying noise, if you are preparing for a trip, or if you just love your bicycle so much that you want to take care of it, don't hesitate, come by.

📌 On-site membership at a free and conscious price, according to your means (no justification required) and your desire to support the space: 15 euros solidarity rate, 30 euros break-even rate for the association, 45 euros and more for the association to remain open to as many people as possible.

For now, the space has little or no accessibility for people with physical disabilities.

Please note, the workshop is closed on public holidays.

Our take on this event

Located at 1 rue Robert Blache, Paillettes & Cambouis is a collective workshop dedicated to bicycle maintenance and community support. The space serves as a hub for learning and autonomy, where individuals can gather to repair their bikes in a welcoming environment. Regardless of your experience, you are encouraged to join the community, benefit from shared expertise, and contribute to the collective life of the workshop.

Sessions run every Saturday from 14:00 to 18:30, starting October 3, 2026, until November 28, 2026. Please note that the atelier is closed during public holidays. To participate, attendees must obtain an on-site membership, which is offered on a voluntary donation basis. You can choose a rate that fits your financial situation and supports the association's mission, with suggested tiers of 15 euros, 30 euros, or 45 euros and above.

The initiative emphasizes kindness and mutual aid, allowing everyone to learn at their own pace. Potential visitors should be advised that the physical location currently offers little to no accessibility for individuals with physical disabilities.
