About

By eating, you can help improve the world: the plate is a wonderful playground and learning space for us all to move forward together! Nourishing yourself with food produced close to home allows you to reduce your ecological footprint. When you eat seasonal foods, grown with care and without pesticides, you support the beauty and natural balance of all living things and allow ecosystems to breathe.

Lila Djeddi invites you to discuss this with your children while tasting a delicious recipe that speaks of ecology on the plate. Bon appétit!

Our take on this event

Turn your next family meal into an interactive masterclass where taste meets sustainability. Through delicious seasonal bites, you and your little ones will discover how simple food choices can make a genuine positive impact on the world.

MAIF Social Club in the 3rd arrondissement hosts the workshop Les p’tits mangeurs éclairés, an educational event dedicated to sustainable eating. Led by Lila Djeddi, this series invites children aged 8 and up along with their parents to explore the environmental impact of their diet. Through the tasting of specific recipes, participants discover how local and seasonal food choices contribute to protecting ecosystems. This activity is completely free of charge, offering families a unique opportunity to discuss ecology and climate issues while enjoying a delicious and meaningful culinary experience together in a welcoming, central Parisian setting.

The MAIF Social Club presents Les p’tits mangeurs éclairés, a recurring workshop running from 23:00 on 23 January 2027 until 26 June 2027. Designed for children from 8 years old and their families, the program highlights how our daily meals influence the health of our planet. By choosing food produced nearby and cultivated without pesticides, we can significantly reduce our ecological footprint.

Under the guidance of facilitator Lila Djeddi, attendees engage in discussions about sustainable consumption while tasting dishes that exemplify these values. The session connects the simplicity of a meal with complex environmental topics like biodiversity and the preservation of natural ecosystems, encouraging children to view their plates as a tool for positive change.

The event takes place at the MAIF Social Club and is free to attend. It serves as a practical, interactive space for families to learn about the benefits of seasonal eating and the importance of supporting local agricultural practices in a fun and thought-provoking way.
