The exhibition Semons nos résistances offers you tasting tours! Guided tours in which you will be invited to discover the works, but also to eat them, or rather to taste the culinary reinterpretation that has been made of them. Tours with three voices: an artistic voice provided by one of our mediators, an LSF (French Sign Language) interpreter Isabelle Lombard, and a culinary voice provided by Ninon Gouronnec, a chef committed to the democratization of joyful eating and ecology for food that is fair for everyone.
Isabelle Lombard: "French/French Sign Language interpreter, passionate about my profession, I have loved being, for 25 years, this 'bridge' that allows the meeting between deaf and hearing people"
Our take on this event
Art usually asks you to look, but this unique exhibition invites you to taste its message through culinary interpretations. Guided by an artist mediator, a conscious chef, and a sign language interpreter, this multi-sensory journey breaks down barriers between works of art and the palate.
The MAIF Social Club in the 3rd arrondissement hosts sensory-focused tours of the exhibition 'Semons nos résistances'. These guided visits offer a unique blend of art and food, featuring artistic mediation, French Sign Language (LSF) interpretation by Isabelle Lombard, and culinary creations by chef Ninon Gouronnec. Located in the heart of Paris, the MAIF Social Club offers a sensory journey through its current exhibition, 'Semons nos résistances'. These culinary tours provide a multidimensional experience where art meets gastronomy. The visit is conducted by a three-voice team: a museum mediator, French Sign Language interpreter Isabelle Lombard, and chef Ninon Gouronnec, who creates edible interpretations of the artworks to highlight sustainable and fair food practices.
The sessions are scheduled on Friday, January 15, 2027, and Friday, May 14, 2027, from 18:30 to 20:00. These tours are strictly for visitors aged 18 and older. The presence of Isabelle Lombard ensures full accessibility for both deaf and hearing visitors, serving as a bridge between the art and the public.
Registration is mandatory for all guests. To ensure the smooth organization of these culinary events and to minimize food waste caused by no-shows, a fee of 7 € per person is required. Interested participants must book their spot in advance by contacting the organizing team via email.
