Toddler tours of the "Sowing Our Resistance" exhibition
A tour of the "Sowing Our Resistance" exhibition adapted for toddlers, combining art and sensory awakening.
MAIF Social Club (Paris 3rd)
About
Enjoy a mini-guided tour for your toddlers to discover the artworks in an exhibition perfect for exploration. During this visit, you can share a special moment in the heart of the exhibit with your little ones, where you will discover the artworks gently through body movement and play!
The exhibition: Through the presentation of work by fifteen artists, the exhibition Sowing Our Resistance celebrates those actions that sow the seeds of joyful dissent in service of other ways of inhabiting the Earth, attentive to living beings and otherness. Even more, it is an invitation to gather together to invent, as one, the world we wish to see come to pass.
Our take on this event
Forget hushed galleries where kids are told to stand still and stay quiet. Here, art is meant to be felt, played with, and experienced through movement, turning a meaningful exhibition into an immersive sensory adventure for the little ones. It is the perfect opportunity to nurture their imagination while sharing a unique, inspiring moment together.
MAIF Social Club in the 3rd arrondissement hosts guided tours designed specifically for toddlers from the age of 2. You and your little ones are invited to explore the exhibition "Semons nos résistances" through sensory activities, movement, and play. This free event provides a gentle introduction to the works of fifteen artists who focus on environmental awareness and community. It is a perfect opportunity for families to discover contemporary art at a pace suited to the youngest visitors, fostering curiosity in a welcoming space right in the heart of Paris.
Taking place at the MAIF Social Club from October 20, 2026, until July 24, 2027, these guided tours offer a unique cultural experience for children starting at 2 years old. Entry is free, making it an accessible way to engage with art as a family throughout the exhibition period.
The tour features a selection of works by fifteen artists exploring themes of joyful dissent and our relationship with the living world. Rather than a standard gallery visit, the session uses play and physical interaction to help toddlers experience the art. It serves as a creative invitation to reflect on how we share the Earth and build the future together, providing a meaningful, shared experience for both parents and children.
