Musical tours of the exhibition "Sowing our resistances"
Struggle songs, protest songs, compositions carrying memory: music has always been a powerful engine for rallying and resistance.
MAIF Social Club (Paris 3rd)
About
Cellist Clara Germont echoes the works of the exhibition presented by our mediation team, performing pieces from the repertoire as well as original creations or those inspired by pop culture.
In echo to the works presented in the exhibition Sowing our resistances, we invite you to participate in a tour punctuated by music. A guided tour led by two voices blending visual arts and music, brought to you by a site mediator and cellist Clara Germont.
Find all the guided tours of the exhibition: for toddlers, families, adults, culinary, storytelling, musical, and Creole tours on the programming page. The exhibition can also be visited without a reservation, outside of guided tours.
Our take on this event
Art becomes a multisensory experience when you trade hushed whispers for the soulful resonance of a live cello. This unique guided tour bridges visual storytelling and melodic composition, inviting you to see these works through a completely new rhythm.
The MAIF Social Club in Paris's 3rd arrondissement presents a unique way to experience the exhibition "Semons nos résistances" through live musical tours. Running from October 14, 2026, to July 24, 2027, these sessions feature cellist Clara Germont performing alongside a museum mediator. By blending visual art with pieces from the classical repertoire, original compositions, and pop culture hits, the event offers a fresh perspective on the artworks. These guided tours are entirely free, inviting visitors of all ages to enjoy a sensory exploration within the heart of the city.
Discover "Semons nos résistances" at the MAIF Social Club through a series of musical tours that bridge the gap between visual arts and performance. From October 14, 2026, until July 24, 2027, a duo consisting of a site mediator and cellist Clara Germont leads you through the gallery space. The guide provides insights into the exhibition while Clara Germont creates a rhythmic soundscape using her cello to highlight the themes of the displayed works.
The programme features a diverse range of formats, including family-friendly, toddler-focused, and storytelling sessions, but the musical tour stands out for its unique artistic synergy. Attendance at these sessions is free of charge. Please be aware that while these guided tours offer a curated experience, the exhibition is also open for self-guided visits without the need for a reservation at any other time.
