About

Born from the economic and social crises of the 1970s, the punk and post-punk movements advocated nonconformity, anti-consumerism, and direct action: the music is urgent, the lyrics are chanted, and the message is in the foreground. While the crises have persisted and the movements have survived, they gave birth to cult bands and an aesthetic that has never faded, from the Sex Pistols to Joy Division, from New Order to The Cure.

Learn how machines work to better tame them and use them in the service of music. An introduction to electronic music, using synthesizers sometimes dating back to the 1980s.

The workshop is also available for adults.
