To close the first edition of the Clichy Creation Week, the Théâtre Rutebeuf welcomes a young company that is already establishing itself as a promising voice in contemporary theater. After several acclaimed creations, notably presented at the Avignon Off Festival, the Hors du temps company continues its exploration of the major issues of our time with Why People Who Sow.

At the heart of the story, a couple with nothing in common. Chloé campaigns for civil disobedience in the face of the ecological emergency. Antoine, having become a prefect, is responsible for enforcing the law. When their convictions clash in the same territory, a question arises: how can we continue to live together when everyone is convinced they are acting in the name of justice?

Carried by a cast of four actors, including Clichy local Matthieu Le Goaster, this creation blends emotion, humor, and reflection in a dynamic production that places the spectator at the heart of the debate.

Between social theater and sensitive fiction, Why People Who Sow invites us to move beyond oppositions to question what still connects us.
