Summary
Being in one's element while serving customers is no piece of cake. Béchamel is the long-time waiter at the Sun Beach, hit from serving coffees, spilled from serving creams, and under pressure from serving beers. He sometimes makes philosophical remarks to his customers. His signature cocktail: the Schizo > ¼ discipline, ¼ love, ¼ madness, and a dash of police. Sébastien Petiot is an author, actor, and professional clown. He has been diagnosed with schizophrenia since 2007, at the age of 35. Today, in a world lacking information about mental health and where it suffers from the skewed gaze of society, the show Resto Dingo offers a unique experience of living with the illness. Who better than a clown can laugh at himself and others, who better than a clown allows us to laugh together? Sébastien's poetic and absurd writing sheds light on a poorly understood illness with both lightness and depth.
