In Iterations, Tom Cassani turns his body into a formidable playground, defying reality with his sleight-of-hand tricks. But rather than preserving the mystery, the artist deconstructs its mechanisms in a series of iterations. The same scenes return, slightly shifted, until their secrets are revealed. A coin slipped into a pocket is enough to induce vertigo...
In Black Magic, two magicians collaborate closely while remaining at a distance. Drawing on 19th-century photographic trick techniques, the act combines traditional methods with contemporary tools. Illusions appear live, unsettling, almost unreal.
