About

The Théâtre Silvia Monfort presents La vie de ma mère, a circus performance by Olivier Debelhoir running from January 8 to January 16, 2027. Combining tightrope walking, acrobatics, and eccentric props, the show explores themes of balance and physical challenge through a unique artisanal approach. Along with performers Delphine Lanson and Michaël Philis, Debelhoir crafts an unpredictable world featuring everything from knights in armor to gravity-defying levitation. Suitable for audiences aged 8 and up, this performance is a must-see in the 15th arrondissement. Ticket prices range from 5€ to 28€, ensuring an accessible and captivating artistic experience for all.

"I will attempt, before your amazed eyes, with three pieces of wood, to craft a precipice, a ridge, a lifeline, the fear of falling, the summit not so far but not quite won either". Olivier Debelhoir is fearless. Initially a tightrope walker and street juggler, he trained as a carrier on an acrobatic bicycle, explored martial arts, and then became a tightrope walker on all kinds of surfaces. Today, he tracks vertigo wherever he goes, constantly seeking to push the limits.

With La vie de ma mère, supported by his sidekicks, he offers us a great moment of escape, capable of building worlds with bits of string. On the program: apparitions, accordion, a knight in armor and even… levitation 47 cm above the ground!
