From March 10 to 13, 2027, the Théâtre Silvia Monfort hosts Inside, a performance by Tom Cassani that redefines the traditional art of sword swallowing. Blending elements of circus, dance, and cabaret, Cassani offers an intimate, daring exploration that challenges the audience's perception of truth and survival. This show is strictly for ages 16 and up, and spectators are welcome to leave the theater at any point if they feel uncomfortable with the performance's intensity. Tickets for this unique experience are priced between 5€ and 28€.
An artist with a distinct singularity, he moves between dance and theater, circus and cabaret. Tom Cassani’s performances rely on expanded magic, which challenges our perception and our relationship with truth. Here, his gesture shifts toward the intimate. The act of swallowing swords becomes simultaneously a stripping bare, a lecture, a demonstration, an obsession, or even a collective celebration of being alive. Faced with him, the audience, mesmerized, shifts between dread and fascination, doubt and compassion.
With this new creation, Tom Cassani pushes the boundaries of his art. In his expert hands, the traditional act transforms into a bold exploration of danger. A unique experience to be lived live, from which one does not emerge completely unscathed.

Drawing on his expertise in magic, dance, and theater, Cassani transforms the act of sword swallowing into a profound exploration of human vulnerability and resilience. This performance functions as a cross between a lecture and an intimate ritual, designed to provoke reactions ranging from fascination to deep reflection.
Performances are scheduled from Wednesday, March 10, to Saturday, March 13, 2027. Showtimes are at 20:30 on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and at 20:00 on Saturday. Each session lasts one hour. Please note that the show is intended for audiences aged 16 and above.
