The Théâtre Silvia Monfort presents Mermaids, Sweat your prayers, a neo-futuristic production featuring an all-female cast and crew. This immersive show blends contemporary dance, acrobatics, opera, and electronic music to explore metamorphosis in an interactive digital landscape. Performances run from May 26 to May 29, 2027, with ticket prices ranging from 5€ to 28€. Please be aware that the performance utilizes bright lighting and high sound levels, which are essential components of this artistic experience located in Paris' 15th arrondissement.

A 100% female cast, both on stage and behind the scenes of this neo-futurist show. Fluid and mysterious, these hybrid presences move between the real and the virtual, blending dance, acrobatics, electronic music, and singing. Drawing from myths and facing the world's upheavals, the show invents a contemporary narrative where metamorphosis becomes a response to chaos, a way to bring forth other, more desirable possibilities.

At the heart of a digital scenography – an interactive and shifting landscape – Mermaids offers an immersive experience where everything is recomposed in plain sight to invent new ways of being in the world. What if the future were aquatic and feminine?

Our take on this event

Conceived and choreographed by Justine Berthillot, Mermaids, Sweat your prayers reimagines modern myths through a neo-futuristic lens. The show features performers Anna Tierney, Serena Bottet, Tia Balacey, Solène Ezin, and opera singer Clémence Niclas, who navigate a shifting digital environment. By merging physical movement with 3D video and electronic soundscapes, the production seeks to envision new ways of existing in a changing world, asking what an aquatic and feminine future might look like.

The event takes place at the Théâtre Silvia Monfort from Wednesday, May 26, to Saturday, May 29, 2027. Showtimes are at 20:00 on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and at 18:00 on Saturday. Each performance lasts for one hour. Tickets are available at prices between 5€ and 28€.

Visitors should note that the production includes sequences with bright lighting and high volume levels. The creative team, including composer Romane Santarelli and video designer Valentin Naffetat, has crafted an environment where everything is in constant flux. This production is supported by the production team from Le B.E.C.
