About
The Silvia Monfort Theater presents La Veilleuse, a unique holographic cabaret created by Valentine Losseau and Raphaël Navarro from Cie 14:20. This show explores the nature of the invisible through striking holographic performances featuring artists such as Yael Naim, Kaori Ito, and Birds on a wire. Blending magic with artistic innovation, this surrealist experience challenges the viewer's perception of presence. Performances run from May 3 to May 5, 2027, with 20-minute sessions available throughout each evening. Tickets are priced at 5€, providing an accessible and immersive artistic encounter in the heart of the 15th arrondissement.
A simple bare bulb on a stand prepares itself in the empty room to fight the spirits that are sure to appear: it is called, in English, the ghost light. La Veilleuse, Cabaret holographique pays tribute to this object of the shadows and its stubborn glow, a symbol of optimism and creative energy.
In an artistic cavern, artists are gathered under their ghostly attire in a surreal suite, taking advantage of their—provisional—immateriality: Yael Naim, multiplied, takes flight; the dancer Kaori Ito leaves the trace of her movements in space; the mesmerizing singers of Birds on a wire vanish into smoke...
How do you make a presence felt in the face of the immaterial? Isn't it the essence of magic to bring us into the presence of the invisible?
“The impression of both strangeness and novelty, of the birth of a new form of spectacle. The first spectators of the cinematograph may have had this same sensation.” La Revue du Spectacle
“A surrealist cabaret that manipulates our beliefs and our perception of the invisible.” Télérama

Our take on this event
La Veilleuse pays tribute to the ghost light, the lamp traditionally left on empty stages to ward off spirits. Under the direction of Cie 14:20, this holographic cabaret turns the Silvia Monfort Theater into a space where matter disappears. During each 20-minute performance, the audience encounters a surreal sequence where artists such as Lou Doillon, Yann Frisch, and Laurence Equilbey appear in ghostly forms. Dancer Kaori Ito, singer Yael Naim, and the members of Birds on a wire occupy this immaterial space, challenging our perception of reality and the nature of magic.
The show runs from Monday, May 3 to Wednesday, May 5, 2027. Three 20-minute time slots are offered each evening: 19:00, 19:30, and 20:00. With a flat ticket price of 5€, this short performance invites the audience to dive deep into the invisible. Directed by Valentine Losseau and Raphaël Navarro, the production blurs the lines between technology and humanity to deliver a truly novel theatrical experience.
