MANDRAKE HANDSHAKE
The multidimensional collective from Oxford and London, Mandrake Handshake, presents music they call "Flowerkraut": a hedonistic and psychotropic feast blending krautrock, avant-pop, and psychedelia, spiced with enigmatic grooves and bold improvisations.
With the release of their independent debut album, Earth-Sized World, in February 2025, which reached the Top 20 independent charts, the band has received praise from The Times, UNCUT, CLASH, BBC Radio 6 Music, and many others. Their controlled energy and elegant chaos on stage have earned them numerous festival appearances, several headline tours across the UK and Europe, a sold-out show at No90 Hackney Wick, and an exceptional performance at the legendary Fabric club.
This ascent was immortalized by a KEXP session acclaimed by the public (over 225,000 views to date), recorded in February 2026 following their participation in the Trans Musicales festival the previous December.
So... Grab your tambourines! Let your hair down! Adjust your third-eye eyeliner! Come witness the show... and have a good trip.
