RAZORLIGHT

Razorlight was at the forefront of the indie rock revival in the early 2000s, with hits such as "America" and "Wire To Wire". These successes earned them three Top 5 albums, nine platinum discs, an NME Award, as well as performances at Reading Festival and Live 8. After reforming in 2021, the classic line-up – Johnny Borrell (vocals/guitar), Björn Ågren (guitar), Carl Dalemo (bass) and Andy Burrows (drums) – will release their new album "Planet Nowhere" on October 25th, their first together since 2008.

Since reforming, Razorlight has sold out a headline tour, including a show at London's Eventim Apollo, and supported Muse, Kaiser Chiefs, and James. Johnny Borrell did not want to be just a "greatest hits" band. At the end of 2023, they recorded with producer Youth (The Verve, James) at Space Mountain studio in Spain. This session rekindled their creativity, starting with "Scared of Nothing", a track that exudes a tense and incisive post-punk energy, reminiscent of the praise they earned from NME in their early days.

The success of this track led Razorlight to return to Spain for a second session, to build a complete catalogue for "Planet Nowhere". Standout tracks include "Zombie Love", "U Can Call Me", "Dirty Luck" and "Cool People". Alongside the creation of new tracks, Razorlight celebrated their past with the release of "Razorwhat? The Best of Razorlight" and a 20th anniversary Deluxe edition of their debut album "Up All Night". Razorlight is back, ready to revitalize the indie rock scene.

THE K'S

The second album "Pretty On The Internet" is out now.

In certain British towns where not much else happens but real life, there is enough quiet to make plans, as well as the energy, momentum, and initiative necessary to fuel every desire for escape. The K's, this four-member indie phenomenon from Warrington, capturing and documenting the real world, grew up in a town stuck between other places. The band was able to leverage all the advantages and disadvantages of an isolated youth to create their debut album, a beloved masterpiece, "I Wonder If The World Knows?", and see it reach the Top 3 of the official UK album chart upon release.

It is a success forged by conviction. A success catalyzed by the success of sold-out tours across the UK, culminating in a "homecoming" concert in front of 3,700 people at the O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, the presentation of the Best New Group award at the 2024 Nordoff Robbins Northern Music Awards (aka the Northern Brits) and their presence on major festival stages, including their Glastonbury debut in 2024, in addition to their main stage appearances at Leeds, Reading and Isle of Wight festivals, Camp Bestival, Kendal Calling and many others. Knowing only these few elements of their history, who would have bet against The K's becoming the band that so many lost music lovers, young or old, drifting in the waters of an equally dreary suburban life, were waiting for with impatience?

The K's are:

Jamie Boyle - Vocals/Rhythm Guitar Ryan Breslin - Lead Guitar Dexter Baker - Bass Guitar Nathan Peers - Drums
