From February 24 to February 27, 2027, Chaillot – Théâtre national de la Danse presents Une échappée, an inventive dance piece choreographed by Julie Nioche. This burlesque fairy tale features a dancer and an architect of spaces who invite the audience to step into an imaginative world where logic is turned upside down. Through a blend of movement and physical objects set to upbeat music, the performance creates a poetic escape from everyday reality. Perfectly suited for children from 3 years old, this show offers a gentle and playful experience in the heart of Paris for the whole family.
This is a "burlesque fairytale with almost nothing." More precisely, it is the story of a dancer who, aided by a space builder, moves from our world to another by overturning ordinary logic. After En Classe, aimed at 7 to 11-year-olds, choreographer Julie Nioche continues her work for young audiences, this time addressing children from two and a half years old. This ingenious and funny work articulates dance and objects to reveal a different reality. And in the vein of the 1987 film The Way Things Go by Swiss artists Fischli and Weiss, it invents a place of poetic resistance. Deliberately shunning all rationality, its two performers invite young and old, to the sound of catchy music, into an imagination filled with light images. A beautiful escape, full of gentleness and wonder.

The event takes place at Chaillot – Théâtre national de la Danse from Wednesday, February 24, to Saturday, February 27, 2027. Performance times include 10:00 sessions from Wednesday through Friday, an additional 14:30 slot on Thursday, and two shows on Saturday at 11:00 and 16:00.
Tickets are priced between 10 and 25 euros. Given the intimate nature of the performance, it is recommended to book in advance. The show is designed for children aged 3 and up.
