Step back in time to the Gallo-Roman era with a guided tour exploring the origins of Paris, known then as Lutetia. On Saturday, October 24, 2026, walk the historic Cardo Maximus, visit the site of the ancient Forum near the Pantheon, and discover the daily life of early inhabitants near the Cluny Thermes. This 40-minute tour concludes at the Arènes de Lutèce, offering a fascinating look at the city's ancient defenses. Suitable for visitors aged 6 and up, this experience is priced at 18€ per person. Secure your spot to uncover the hidden Roman layers beneath the modern streets of the French capital.

Starting from the Seine, we will take the "Cardo Maximus," the first Roman road, and walk together to discover the Pantheon, the former Forum and beating heart of the Gallo-Roman city around which the city was built.

We will then turn off at the Place de la Sorbonne towards the Cluny Baths to discover the daily life of the inhabitants of Lutetia.

Our stroll will end at the Arènes de Lutèce, where we will discuss their role when the city and its inhabitants fled from the hordes of mustachioed, helmeted barbarians armed with axes and well determined to fight...

Our take on this event
