Travel back to 1825 Paris with an immersive scavenger hunt through the city's covered passages. You are the newest recruits of Vidocq's legendary detective team, tasked with solving a mysterious murder that occurred at the Palais-Royal. By deciphering clues and navigating historical spots, you will attempt to track down the killer. This event is designed for participants aged 15 and older; minors must be accompanied by an adult. The adventure begins at Square Montholon in the 9th arrondissement, with tickets priced at 15 euros for adults and 12 euros for youths aged 12 to 18.

Who killed him and why? You are the latest recruits of Vidocq's gang. Will you be the first to arrest the murderer and prove yourselves to the boss?
At the starting point, a brief presentation will immerse you in the adventure; a route map will be given to you to help you solve riddles, follow clues, and answer questions. You are ready for the start, so on your marks, get set... track!

Our take on this event
The year is 1825. A dying man collapses beneath the arches of the Palais-Royal, whispering his final word. As new recruits of the Vidocq gang, your goal is to uncover his identity and solve the motive behind this crime. Upon meeting at Square Montholon, you will receive a briefing followed by a route book, which serves as your primary tool for solving puzzles and gathering evidence throughout the historic covered passages of Paris.
Individual participants or pairs will be assigned to a team, while groups of three or more will remain together. The game is suitable for those aged 15 and up, though parental supervision is required for all minors. It is an engaging way to explore local history while testing your deductive skills.
The activity runs from October 11 to December 26, 2026. Most sessions are scheduled on Saturdays from 14:30 to 17:15, with the exception of November 21, which takes place from 13:45 to 16:30. Participation costs 15 euros for adults and 12 euros for those aged 12-18, while entry for children under 11 is free.
