Jeanne is full of energy and always ready for a challenge; she is fire. Nicodème, on the other hand, is water: shy, his heart rumbles but he says not a word. When their teachers decide to hold class outside, they struggle to find their place. While the little boy isolates himself, Jeanne cannot help but overflow. Despite the difficulties, the two children will gradually get to know each other and, together, find peace.
After studying Art History and archaeology, Tom Haugomat turned to the design and creation of animated films at the Gobelins school. He has published two albums, Hors-Pistes in 2014 and À travers in 2018 (Thierry Magnier).
Bérengère Cournut is an author of several novels that give a prominent place to nature and oneirism. With Le Tripode editions, she published De pierre et d’os (2019), for which she won the Fnac and Libr’à nous awards. She also wrote the series Le Roi de la lune (2042 editions), illustrated by Donatien Mary, the first album of which received a special mention at the Bologna Ragazzi Awards in 2019.
