Colette Vivier Library invites parents and their toddlers to explore the world of children's books through monthly reading sessions. Guided by library staff, these morning meetings provide an opportunity to discover age-appropriate literature in a welcoming environment. Located in the 17th arrondissement, this event is completely free of charge and takes place on specific Saturdays. The facility is fully wheelchair accessible and adapted for visitors with cognitive disabilities, ensuring a comfortable experience for every family looking to share a special reading moment together.

Come and participate in a moment of discovery of first books for parents and their toddlers, accompanied by librarians.

Our take on this event

Toddlers and their parents are welcomed at Colette Vivier Library for a dedicated hour of literary discovery. Led by the library's professional staff, these sessions focus on introducing the very first books to the youngest readers. Each event lasts from 10:00 to 11:00 on scheduled Saturday mornings.

The series runs from December 5, 2026, through July 3, 2027. You can join the group on the following dates: December 5, 2026, February 6, 2027, March 6, 2027, April 3, 2027, June 5, 2027, and July 3, 2027. Attendance is free, and there is no need to book your spot in advance.

Situated at 6 rue Fourneyron in the 17th arrondissement, Colette Vivier Library prioritizes inclusivity. The venue is equipped for wheelchair access, and the program design is specifically adapted to be inclusive for individuals with cognitive disabilities.
