About
Experience Bunker Kyiv, a performance written in free verse that examines life within the shelters of Ukraine's capital. Hosted at the Centre Paris Anim' Point du Jour on November 19 and 20, 2026, the play draws upon authentic testimonies to explore how fear impacts human nature when time stands still. Audiences are invited to witness this unique perspective on the war in Ukraine, where traditional limits vanish within the confines of the bunker. The venue is wheelchair accessible, ensuring that everyone can attend the 20:00 to 21:00 performances during these two evenings.
In Kyiv, there are 4,984 bunkers. Fear permeates everything. The beings inside the bunker become beasts. In these places, other rules, other limits prevail. Inside the bunker, time stops; we wait and hope to come out alive. "All certainties evaporate, disappear."
The worst thing would be to die thinking you are still alive. This free verse text, written based on testimonies, shows us the war in Ukraine from a different angle.
