About
The Assembly of Women is a show presented by the "Les Pisseuses" company as part of the week against discrimination. It is a comedy, a rewriting of Aristophanes' play, which tells the story of women taking power in the Athenian Assembly. They invite us to question ourselves about consent in sexuality, the place of women in political life, and the distribution of wealth. In a street theater setting where the audience participates in this revolt, the commedia dell'arte style allows us to laugh in order to reflect and denounce inequalities. The characters invite us to question ourselves about consent in sexuality, the place of women in the public sphere, and the distribution of wealth, all addressed between humor and political demands. Duration: 50 minutes. Free upon reservation: maison.asso.13@paris.fr / 01 56 61 77 60
