Que jeunesse se raconte returns to the Théâtre de la Concorde!

Forget polished performances and get ready for a raw, unfiltered pulse of city life hitting the stage. This collective storytelling session serves up a powerful blend of rap, poetry, and humor that perfectly captures the chaos and hope of youth today.

About

In this show, young people from the Mission Locale de Paris directly recount their identities, rap about their sexuality, talk about love, poeticize their origins, express their convictions, support each other, laugh at their hesitations, or affirm their choices. Their stories are articulated in various registers: humorous, poetic, dreamlike, satirical... it doesn't matter, as long as youth is telling its story. The diversity of their paths clashes through languages, and from these disparities, they build a strong collective voice.

"Now what do we do? Do we stay in the mess? Do we try again, or do we shout to trigger an avalanche? What do we do? How did we end up here? What happened to make us fall every time we attempt the climb?", Sâra Merzoug

After the Tous en scène festival at the Concorde, the Arènes de Montmartre, and the Avignon Festival, come and see this snapshot of today's youth.
