Our take on this event
The costumed BJAM turns L'Ours et la Vieille Grille into an exceptional open stage on Friday, October 23, 2026. From 19:00 to 22:00, this venue in the 5th arrondissement welcomes all performers for an evening dedicated to musical and artistic exchange. While baroque repertoire and period instruments are the focus, the jam is open to all styles, genres, and disciplines, including dancers, poets, and painters wishing to explore spontaneous collaborations.
The theme for this session is an invitation to celebrate Halloween at Versailles. Participants are encouraged to arrive in costume, ranging from simple accessories to full baroque attire. This welcoming and relaxed environment is perfect for rehearsing, testing new improvisations, or simply enjoying music with friends, family, or colleagues.
While spontaneous participation is possible depending on available slots, advance registration is recommended to help with planning and provide better visibility for the performers. Attendance is free, though a voluntary contribution system is available to help cover costs.
