The 38Riv jazz club in the 4th arrondissement hosts weekly jam sessions led by double bassist Solène Cairoli. Every Wednesday night from October 14, 2026, to January 27, 2027, musicians and jazz enthusiasts gather in this historic 12th-century vaulted cellar for live performances. Solène Cairoli, who honed her craft at the Manhattan School of Music, curates a vibrant atmosphere perfect for discovering authentic jazz in an intimate setting. Please note that this event is strictly for guests aged 18 and over. Tickets are required for entry, with prices ranging from 6 to 9 euros.

After only five years of playing double bass and studying jazz, Solène flew to New York to pursue a Master's degree in Jazz at the Manhattan School of Music. There, she had the opportunity to study with renowned musicians such as Buster Williams, Ingrid Jensen, and Phil Markowitz.

After three years rich in musical discoveries and encounters, she returned to France. Since her return, she has performed regularly in concerts and has had the opportunity to play with leading figures of French jazz such as Giovanni Mirabassi, Sylvain Beuf, and Hugo Lippi.
