Théâtre La Flèche hosts Pardon ?, a one-man show where Alexandre recounts his journey as a deaf actor chasing his dreams. Through a series of sketches inspired by his own experiences, he highlights the misunderstandings and social barriers he faces while attempting to connect with others. The play reframes silence not as an absence, but as a central narrative tool, offering the audience a unique perspective on communication. Performances run every Wednesday from 7 October to 9 December 2026, starting at 21:00. To ensure inclusivity, several dates feature surtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing.
From the beginning, silence sets in and becomes the thread of the show.
Through a series of characters and situations inspired by his own journey, Alexandre, born deaf, recounts his desire to become an actor. Despite the misunderstandings, clumsiness, and blind spots of our society, he attempts to make himself understood.
Here, deafness is not explained, and silence is not an absence. The audience is invited to explore this world.
