This roaming writing course invites participants to explore Paris while crafting stories inspired by Halloween, blending urban observation with creative exercises. Whether in parks, museums, or cafes, students will follow in the footsteps of legendary authors like Victor Hugo and Simone de Beauvoir. Participants meet daily at 10:00 at the Place de la République in the 10th arrondissement, with sessions concluding at 16:30. It is a perfect opportunity to combine cultural discovery with the pleasure of writing.
Workshop - Wandering through Paris to write, themed around Halloween
(10-14 years old)
For one week during the All Saints' holidays, Manon will take you across the capital to write (outdoors and in cafes) based on fun prompts inspired by the city, literary and poetic works, fates, and locations tied to the Halloween theme.
Every day will be different, but writing (in the form of games) will be our common thread: writing through observation (parks and museums), writing through listening (the Philharmonie de Paris), writing through discovery (the Halloween theme)... We will stroll through the central districts of Paris, following in the footsteps of great writers like Victor Hugo, Colette, Rimbaud, or Simone de Beauvoir, as well as places dedicated to art.
Five days of roaming to get a big breath of sunny air, soak up culture, and take the time to write.
