About

The Jardin d'Acclimatation celebrates the Mexican Día de los Muertos from October 3 to November 1, 2026. This festive event in Paris's 16th arrondissement transforms the park with traditional marigold flowers and cheerful calaveras, offering a unique cultural experience for all ages. Visitors can enjoy themed rides, mariachi music, magic shows, and authentic Mexican street food. This is a paid event, with activities accessible through individual ride tickets or an all-inclusive pass. It provides a perfect autumn outing for families looking to explore Mexican heritage through live performances, creative face painting, and immersive decorations set within the historic gardens.

From the very first paths, the park transforms into a living tableau where imagination and memory engage in dialogue. Beneath a sky with reflections of gold and embers, the smiling calaveras—the iconic skulls of the Mexican festival—and the flamboyant ornaments of cempasúchil flowers or marigolds invite strollers on a new journey without leaving Paris, guided straight by grace and color.

The Great Awakening of Attractions

Amidst the 45 attractions of the Garden, the spirit of Mexico takes hold of the rides for a whirlwind of emotions:

  • The Enchanted River: Usually known in its enchanted version, it will briefly abandon its gentle tranquility to drape itself in mysterious mists where mischievous skeletons guide the footsteps of adventurers along the water.

Access: 2 attraction tickets or Unlimited Pass — Open every day from October 3 to November 15

  • The Mayan Labyrinth: Between mirror reflections and hidden paths, the soul of the great empire builders invites itself to challenge everyone's intuition and sense of direction. Will you be able to find the exit?

Access: 2 attraction tickets or Unlimited Pass — Open Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and every day during school holidays from October 3 to November 1!

  • Samba de Los Muertos: In an autumnal sky, an ephemeral carousel of graceful hot air balloons adorned with flowers that soar and dance with the wind.

Access: 1 attraction ticket or Unlimited Pass — Open Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and every day during school holidays from October 3 to November 1

A Breath of Celebration and Music

To make the soul of this distant land resonate, the mariachi orchestra Arrieras Somos, a 100% female ensemble of ten virtuoso musicians, makes its enchanting melodies ring out in the heart of the paths.

Young and old can also surrender to the art of makeup to be reborn, for a day, under the poetic and vibrant features of the legendary figures of the festival.

The Magic of the Holidays

From October 17 to November 1, the mystery thickens with the grand return of the Compagnie des Dragonfly.

Nominated for the French Magic Federation awards in the "Amusement Park Show 2027" category, this show, imagined exclusively for the Garden, promises thirty minutes of spectacular illusions at the Red Theater.

Access: 2 attraction tickets or Unlimited Pass - Performances at 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM from October 17 to November 1 (closed on October 27 & 28)

On October 17 and 29, performances will exceptionally play at 4:00 PM and 5:15 PM

The Baile del Fuego

And when twilight begins to embrace the century-old trees of the park, the "Baile del Fuego" or Fire Ball lights up the stage at 6:30 PM. Flamboyant costumes, intoxicating dances, and incandescent rhythms unite a troupe of artists in an apotheosis of energy and pure joy, to close the day in a brilliant celebration.

A Journey to the Edge of the Taste Buds

For a complete change of scenery, the flavors of Mexico awaken the senses. Fajitas, empanadas, nachos, and jambalaya make up a warm and gourmet menu. And to honor tradition according to the rules of the art, the Pan de Muerto, this brioche delicately scented with orange blossom, and the essential churros await gourmets for a final moment of sweetness.
