From October 28 to October 31, 2026, this performance reimagines the fashion runway as a high-stakes choreographic arena. Through bold movement and fierce presence, the dancers shatter traditional beauty standards and reclaim the stage. Perfect for contemporary dance enthusiasts, the event runs daily from 19:00 to 20:00 and is fully wheelchair accessible, ensuring an inclusive environment for all attendees in the heart of Paris.
Choreographer of a segment for the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and the first Waacking artist to sign for the Paris Opera (Romeo and Juliet, directed by Thomas Jolly), Josépha Madoki has for several years established her choreographic signature as one of the most unique in contemporary dance.
With Haute Couture, she subverts the icy codes of fashion to transform them into a choreographic arena: the catwalk becomes a ring and the fashion show a manifesto. On stage, silhouettes assert themselves, heads turn, and norms explode. Bodies are shown, seen, and reclaimed.
