"Yaramaz" is a Turkish word that literally means something like "good for nothing". This term is often used towards young children when they are cheeky and rebellious. Güner Künier titled her second album "Yaramaz" to tell her own journey to adulthood through punk and post-punk. Post-punk and minimal/synth-wave are the main musical references of "Yaramaz", but many other (sub)genres have left their mark. Supersonic hosts an evening of hybrid sounds on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 19:00 to 23:00. This eclectic lineup features Pisse, Güner Künier, and Dona Casque, showcasing a journey through punk, synth-wave, and noise music. It is a prime opportunity to discover international and local talent in the heart of the 12th arrondissement. Admission is free for all attendees. Please be aware that this event is restricted to those aged 18 and over, so ensure you have valid identification with you for entry.
Doors open at 19:00 at Supersonic, with a happy hour running until 20:00 to start the night. The live performances begin at 20:00 with Dona Casque, a Parisian group blending pop, noise, and post-punk through a mix of bass, synthesizers, drums, and unique vocal arrangements.
At 21:00, Berlin-based artist Güner Künier takes the stage to draw from her Yaramaz album. Her sound palette navigates between post-punk and minimal synth-wave, enriched with shoegaze textures, krautrock elements, and a touch of riot grrrl influence. The night concludes at 22:00 with Pisse, a punk band hailing from Wittichenau, Germany.
Entrance to the venue is free of charge until 23:00. Supersonic is located at 9 Rue Biscornet, easily accessible via Bastille metro station.
