Join the Signes avec bébé workshop on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at the Un air de famille venue in the 10th arrondissement. Designed for children up to 3 years old, this one-hour session introduces sign language basics to help parents better understand their baby's needs and emotions. Through playful gestures, nursery rhymes, and finger games, you will learn to communicate before your child starts speaking. The event is held in a wheelchair-accessible space, and capacity is strictly limited to 8 families to ensure a personalized experience for everyone involved.

Everyone knows that toddlers have to wait more or less two years before they can speak.
It's a shame, because they feel and understand everything! So, how can we communicate?
Thanks to small signs borrowed from French Sign Language, a new simple and playful language will allow you to better understand your baby's desires, needs, and emotions.
These small gestures – very easy to replicate – accompanied by speech through gestural nursery rhymes, finger plays… will be shared during a caring family workshop.

Our take on this event
Bridge the communication gap with your little one during this interactive workshop held from 10:30 to 11:30. By incorporating signs borrowed from French Sign Language, you will gain practical tools to interpret your baby's daily needs and feelings. This discovery session focuses on the first twenty essential signs, taught through engaging nursery rhymes and finger games. Participants will receive a memory poster at the end of the hour to continue practicing the techniques at home.
The session welcomes parents as well as siblings to join the experience. The standard price is 25€ for one adult and one child. Additional family members can attend for 10€ per child or 15€ per extra adult. The workshop takes place at Un air de famille, 26 rue du Château-Landon, a venue that is fully accessible to wheelchair users. Because the group size is capped at 8 families, early booking is recommended to secure your spot for this morning of bonding and learning.
