Guy Ferris, Oscar Post, Matt Saunders, and Ollie Thomas founded Lemonsuckr. The band was born inside "The Container," a 2.4m by 6m metal container, the kind you would expect to see crossing the Atlantic on a cargo ship (this one, however, was quietly abandoned on a farm in the middle of nowhere).
They transformed "The Container" themselves into a hideout, studio, and headquarters; a place where they could conceptualize, rehearse, and write music together. Countless hours followed, locked inside this tin can, obsessed with their project, with the doors slammed shut.
By the end of 2024, their goal was met, the container abandoned, and they all moved together to Brighton to finally unveil what they had worked so hard on for so long.
It was time to put it all on stage.

Brighton-based post-punk outfit Lemonsuckr takes to the stage at Supersonic on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. Formed by Guy Ferris, Oscar Post, Matt Saunders, and Ollie Thomas, the band spent years refining their sound in a repurposed shipping container before bringing their high-energy, chaotic live set to the public. Known for an unrelenting rhythm and raw intensity, their performance kicks off at 22:00. Admission is free for all attendees, though you must be 18 or older to enter. The venue doors open at 19:00, with a happy hour running until 20:00 to start the night.
