The 38Riv Jazz Club hosts the Zoot « late » sessions every Saturday from October 17, 2026, to January 30, 2027. Each night features a late show at 23:00 followed by a vibrant jam session lasting until 02:00. Organized by a collective of musicians trained in New York and Paris, these events showcase high-energy jazz within the club's distinctive 12th-century vaulted cellar. Tickets are priced at 20 euros, and entry is restricted to those aged 18 and over. This series offers a unique opportunity to experience professional-grade improvisation in an intimate setting located in the heart of the Marais district.
The collective was born in 2016 from the momentum of young jazz musicians, united by a common vision and a desire to create together. Trained in New York, at the CNSM in Paris, or elsewhere, they have since been developing a dynamic and ambitious scene.
The collective blends artistic rigor with generational energy, as evidenced by its flagship projects: Zoot Suite Vol.1 & 2, Pannonica with Natalie Dessay, or the Zoot Symphonic Orchestra, a hybrid formation of 80 musicians presented at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées.
Thanks to its label Zoot Records and its own studio, the collective now produces a large number of original projects that promote jazz in France and internationally.
Tickets grant access to the late show at 11:00 PM and the jam session from 12:00 AM until the club closes at 2:00 AM. Presale tickets guarantee priority entry until 30 minutes after opening. Admission is free for musicians upon presentation of a jam card.
38Riv
Located in the heart of the Marais, 38Riv is an intimate jazz club and bar. It is a venue for all musical encounters: from jazz to latin jazz, including funk and baroque. Its 12th-century vaulted cellar offers warm and authentic acoustics.
