Discover the program for the Brawl Prevention Month

Equipping young people with the tools to resolve conflicts and avoid violence is the focus of these empowering local workshops. Through creative drama sessions and open dialogues, teenagers are discovering more constructive ways to build stronger relationships within their community.

About

From October 15 to November 15, 2026, Paris hosts the fourth edition of the Anti-Brawl Prevention Month. Focusing on parenting as a key tool for social harmony, this city-wide initiative offers various activities for youth and families to address conflict and strengthen community ties. With a program spanning multiple districts, participants can engage in theater workshops, sports tournaments, and educational sessions. All events are free of charge, though some require advance registration to attend. Whether you are a student or a parent, check the local schedule to find activities available in your area and contribute to a safer environment.

A brawl? It is a confrontation between several groups of young people, often adolescents. Territorial tensions, personal conflicts amplified by social networks, or even rivalries between schools: brawls can have many origins, hence the importance of acting beforehand to prevent them.

For this 4th edition, the chosen theme is parenthood, as supporting families is a determining lever for brawl prevention.

As part of the Parisian Brawl Prevention Strategy, the City of Paris supports associations that implement actions for Parisian youth, parents, families, and professionals. Discover below the actions proposed in the different Parisian arrondissements and surroundings.
