About

L. enters. She has a sad face, the exhaustion of the end of the year.

She returns home because it is Christmas.

And here she is, in her hinterland, like an aftertaste.

The mother.

The bag is too heavy, the weight on her shoulders.

The mother stands there facing L.

On the threshold.

There they stay as long as she hasn't found the courage.

Is that where they will remain?

They will try to explain themselves, to understand each other.

One last effort. Because it is Christmas.
