Theater “Diagnostik”: a play about mental illness
As part of the festive day "Mon quARTier en Folies" on the occasion of the mental health information weeks.
CPA Curial (Paris 19th)
About
Diagnostik follows Albert and Violette, two teenagers who, convinced that bipolar disorder is hereditary, embark on an investigation as serious as it is absurd to make a diagnosis. Between makeshift scientific experiments, fragmented family memories, and hazardous research on the internet, the play questions mental illness at a human level, through the eyes of those who accompany, support, and try to understand. Performed by Arthur Laurent and Marina Cacciotti, the show blends humor, emotion, and reflection, addressing issues of mental health, the role of caregivers, misinformation, and the validation of emotions, in a format accessible from age 8. Compagnie A Ciel Fermé.
