LINDA WANTS CHICKEN!
by Chiara Malta and Sébastien Laudenbach - 1h16

No, Linda did not steal her mother Paulette's ring! This punishment is completely unfair!… And now Paulette will do anything to make amends, even make chicken with peppers, despite not knowing how to cook. But how do you find a chicken on a day of a general strike?… From chicken coop to watermelon truck, from overzealous cops to allergic truckers, from grandma to a flood, Paulette and her daughter will set off on a quest for the chicken, dragging in the whole "Linda gang" and finally the entire neighborhood. But Linda doesn't know that this chicken, once cooked so well by her father, is the key to her lost memory… By the way, does anyone know how to kill a chicken?…

On October 29, 2026, the Les 7 Parnassiens cinema hosts a special event featuring the film Linda veut du poulet. This 1h16 animation by Chiara Malta and Sébastien Laudenbach tells the story of Paulette and her daughter Linda. After a misunderstanding, Paulette is determined to cook a bell pepper chicken for her daughter, despite her lack of culinary skills and the complication of a general strike. The journey leads them on a wild quest through the neighborhood, uncovering forgotten memories along the way.

Prior to the screening, artist Marine Moutot invites attendees to participate in a collaborative drawing session. By creating small sections of a large-scale piece using colors derived from the film's aesthetic, the audience contributes to a collective artwork. The final piece will be revealed once the movie ends.
